Crew member John Paula turning the 10′ inflatable RIB that we are restoring. The air chambers are filled with Toob Seal, an acrylic sealant to coat the inside and fill any small pinholes and leaks, needs to be turned and rotated every 30 minutes to insure even distribution. Other projects include rebuilding a couple of toilets, installing the new donated running lights (thank you Willy Kaye) and building a new tool storage locker.

Tandemeer in Connecticut
Friends and crew in the New York and Connecticut area are sailing and working on Tandemeer every day. Last weekend we had 9 folks out sailing and ended the day with a three boat raft up for sunset dinner and overnight in a beautiful location.
This week a lot of work got done on the boat with four or five of us working every day: caulked leaking hatches, repaired and rewired bilge pumps, rebuilt carburetors on two outboards and one generator (all run well now), repaired one inflatable dinghy so we have two now, began repairs on the RIB, removed the old settee on the starboard side and designed the new one that carpenters will begin work on next week, and removed the sails and took them to sail loft for repairs. Thanks John, Willy, Dave, Fix, Charlie and Janice for all your help!
